Most people would never guess that I don’t mind getting my hands dirty! Years after earning an electrical engineering degree, I decided to go back to school to become an airplane mechanic. I was the only female in my graduating class. Today, I am very proud to say I am an FAA certified A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic! ……Not only am I able to design and fly aircraft, I can fix them too!
My favorite color is red. I find it vibrant and beautiful and strong!
Feeding the wildlife in my backyard! My husband Jon and I have been fortunate over our 22 years of marriage to live by a pond that’s home to a great amount of wildlife. We love evenings sitting out on our deck, watching the sunset and feeding anyone who wants a free meal! This includes ducks, geese, cats, various other birds, rabbits, raccoons, and even opossums! We have enough food for any furry or feathered friend!
