My guilty pleasure is Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream (or Coldstone Creamery, if I am near a location)and watching reality TV (which is clearly NOT reality). I’m currently exploring Ben and Jerry’s non-dairy flavors, which are very tasty. I secretly I wish I never started keeping up with the Kardashians, but if it happens to be on, I can’t help but see what they are up to; or see what
they are wearing.
No one would ever guess that I LOVE group exercise, especially cardio kickboxing and high intensity exercise. Cardio Kickboxing involves fitness level punching, kicking and striking combinations. I actually have a 70lb heavy bag at home that helps me perfect my technique. Tabata is my favorite high intensity routine, along with HIIT and Total Body Conditioning. They are intense, but worth the effort! I was considering being a group exercise instructor before I discovered Montessori.
My favorite color is purple. I have loved purple for as long as I can remember. It is in the shimmer of a peacock’s plumage. It dresses the most beautiful flowers. It has so many shades and so much depth. It is the color of royalty, and happens to be associated with my favorite musician, Prince. I am a huge fan and wore a little purple for 57 days as a tribute to his passing.
My favorite outdoor activity is attending community events with my family. We recently attended The Peach Festival. We have been to the Arizona State Fair, the Culinary Festival, the Salsa Festival, and Independence Day events, to name a few. There are always fun family events happening in and around Phoenix. We may not be used to the woods or beach, but we do enjoy the outdoor city life of Phoenix (as long as weather permits).
