Eva Worren Chambers
I am from Norway with a Norwegian Father & Filipina Mother, I am proud to have the opportunity to represent Norway & my diverse cultural background. My husband & I go back home to Norway several times a year. My family Christmas in Norway is my favorite tradition. The celebration lasts several days and is a time of family and great food. We are going back home this year and I’m already counting the days!
My husband, Mark & I met on a cruise in 2005. So many things came together that allowed us to meet, it was meant to be. Two weeks after the cruise he took his first trip to Norway and while we had a 2 year long distance relationship he proposed to me. Finally in 2007 I was ready to move to Florida and we’ve been happily married ever since. He is my best friend.
Among my accomplishments is second place in the Norwegian version of "Survivor" called Robinson Ekspidisjonen in 2003. I was the only woman in the finale with 3 men and it was filmed off Malaysia’s coast for over 2 months. It was the toughest thing I have ever done; I will never forget the experience. I’ve always said: "Life is too short, if you have the opportunity to do something, do it, no matter the outcome".
I love traveling & have traveled the world enjoying great food & different cultures. In 2011 my husband and I moved to Norway because I wanted him to experience everyday life in Norway, not just when we go to visit family & friends. He enjoyed living in Norway. He got to spend more time with my parents & friends. We hiked in the mountains no matter what the weather was like.
