1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
My favorite word is “sparkling”. When people ask me what type of day I’m having I usually respond with “”Sparkling!” Using onomatopoeia evokes a response from people that reflects the word’s connotation. It surprises them and brightens their day.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
“Dancing with the Stars” has become my favorite program. I love that the stars are out of their element and in that way they are not “stars”, but just like you and me. The show makes me want to get up and dance!
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
Over-extending myself is my worst habit. I want to be involved in so many things that at times it’s impossible to juggle everything. Unfortunately when that happens I have to make hard choices about what to give up, and then I feel as though I’ve failed somewhere.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
“It could always be worse!” is my favorite saying. For most of us the things that seem so terrible shrink in comparison to the troubles of others. When my son was diagnosed with a nasopharyngeal angiofibroma the size of a softball, I knew even that could have been worse.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
Every day is my favorite day of the week because every day is a new chance to learn something new, fix the problems left from yesterday, meet someone new, and make a difference. Giving up is easy, moving on is the sweetest challenge.
