Taylor-Paige Winslow
1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
My teaching philosophy. As with many, I haven’t always had good experiences in the courses I’ve taken. Now, as a university professor, my goal has been to teach my classes the way I wish I would have been taught: with enthusiasm, humor, and relevance; by grading fairly; and by being a mentor.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
My husband is handsome, charming, kind, respectful, understanding, responsible, silly, and playful. He loves with his whole heart and is quick to forgive. He is fiercely loyal and always puts our family first. He is an amazing husband and father. He is my best friend!
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
Honestly, my best childhood memories are just little everyday moments I had with my mom and sister. Whether it was my mom reading to us before bed or my sister and I making snacks together after school, the love the three of us had for each other and the bond we shared made everyday magical.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
Half academic, half rocker chick. I started taking college courses when I was 13 and, as a result, graduated high school when I was 16. I was never very athletically gifted, but I have always had a natural aptitude for music. I taught myself how to play guitar when I was 14 and spent all my free time playing and writing music with my sister, an equally talented musician.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
My husband always talks about the details of his dream home, so if I could, I would make it all happen for him. That includes several rooms for our future children, a big yard for the dogs, an underground wine cellar, and a secret room behind a bookcase!
