1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
TIME! Life is precious and far too often it’s too short so I am most grateful for the 43 years of experiences, good and bad, that I have been granted on this earth as they have most certainly shaped me into the strong and confident woman that I am today. I try to live each day to the fullest and I am eager to experience many more years of learning, growing and loving life.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
I have been working towards changing careers and have been slowly preparing to leave my 20+ year career in telecommunications to become a high school History teacher. I am happiest when I am working with young adults and I feel that it is my life’s calling to become a teacher.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
Watching my children make good life choices. As a parent, you try hard to ensure you’re teaching your children how to be a responsible and respectful adult but there’s nothing like watching them make good choices knowing that all your years of sleepless nights worrying didn’t happen in vain. Parenting is HARD WORK but life has a way of rewarding you when you least expect it.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
Realizing that I was deserving of love, friendship and respect along with everything else positive that the world had to offer. A previous abusive relationship left me broken, doubtful and insecure which spilled over into my professional life and friendships. When I finally learned to love myself again, everything in my life changed for the better and what had been my darkest years suddenly became the pit from which I drew my strength.
