1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
Having been told, statistically, that I wouldn't amount to anything because of where I've come from makes me try harder everyday. I want my children and people I meet to know that our past doesn't define our future and that there are no limits in life. That with God, everything is possible. I want my life to be a living encouragement to anyone that has endured trauma, abuse, or adversity.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
Living intentionally is really important to me because I believe in making every moment count. The perfect day starts with waking up early, beginning my day with prayer, and working out. From there, being super productive in all the other areas I wear a hat including mother, speaker, author, advocate, and church leader. Ending the perfect day, I love to gather together and have family night full of talking and laughing with the entire family.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
Making a difference each day is what I live for. As a mother or a friend, making a difference each day is as simple as encouraging my family or a woman I meet in the grocery store. As a speaker and an author, I encourage, teach and inspire people daily to overcome their past through my book, social media, YouTube videos, blogging, one on one, and speaking to groups of people.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
My most treasured item in my house is my dining room table. It is usually the focal point that the whole family gathers around. Anything that pulls us together as a family is a treasure to me whether it be for family meals or sentimental talks with our kids. Growing up in a home that lacked family unity, I’ve come to learn that family is everything.
