Lauren Weeks - Mrs. International 2018
1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
From the time I was a child, I have always had an innate yearning to push myself towards accomplishing goals. I believe this came from a combination of my mother telling me that I can achieve any goal I set my mind to, as well as a spiritual push from God to never forget where my worth comes from, therefore, I shouldn’t fear trying new things and working to be the best I can be.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
My days typically start with coffee and Bible time with my husband. Shortly after, my two boys wake up and that’s when the fun really begins for us. What would make the day perfect is to go to our favorite sandwich shop, head up to Lake Hemet for some fishing, and camp under the stars. And if my husband threw in a massage at some point, that would really top off the whole day!
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
I make a difference each day in the lives of my two children by teaching them the word of God and trying to be an example of what a servant’s heart looks like. I do this by raising money for Together We Rise and changing the way children experience the foster care system. My children get to help me decorate duffel bags and fill them with essentials before they are sent to children in need.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
Our wedding guest book is my most treasured item. Of course, it holds value as it’s a symbol of the day I joined my life with my husbands. But it also contains written messages and pictures from our guests including my dear friend Donna, my grandmother Carole, and my Aunt Kathy who have since passed away. I cherish the words and advice they wrote to us and read them when I miss them most.
